GYW Finance: Making finance feel credible without feeling complicated
A brand identity that earns trust at first glance, without the stiff, overly corporate look of most finance brands.
Overview
What is GYW Finance?
GYW Finance is a financial services brand that needed a visual identity capable of communicating trust, professionalism, and reliability while still feeling modern and approachable.
The objective was a distinctive brand system that could work consistently across digital platforms, marketing materials, documents, and everyday customer touchpoints.
I handled the branding and graphic design: the identity and everything itβs applied to.
Problem
Finance brands have to earn trust almost immediately.
The challenge was to create an identity that felt established and dependable without falling into the traditional, overly corporate look often associated with the finance industry.
The brand needed to feel professional enough to inspire confidence, yet approachable enough to connect with everyday customers.
So the goal became an identity that feels dependable, without feeling corporate.
Identity
A clear identity built for confidence.
- A distinctive logo. At the centre is a clean, contemporary logo, designed to communicate stability, clarity, and forward movement.
- A complete system. Considered typography, a professional colour system, and consistent graphic elements make the identity flexible enough to work across digital and physical applications.
Business cards Navy front, clean white back.
Flyers The system carried into print marketing.
Applications
One system across every touchpoint.
The branding system included logo variations, typography, colour palette, visual language, stationery, digital applications, and marketing collateral.
Stationery and merchandise.
Marketing, social media and events.
Outcome
A more confident and recognisable financial brand.
The final identity gives GYW Finance a cohesive visual presence that feels professional, trustworthy, and contemporary.
Rather than simply creating a logo, the project established a visual system that allows the brand to communicate consistently across every customer touchpoint.
Trust, translated into identity.
