LawToolBox: Making complex legal tech easier to understand

What is LawToolBox?

LawToolBox offers a wide range of legal calendaring, workflow, and Microsoft 365 solutions for law firms.

Its website had a lot to explain, to an audience that needs to trust it quickly.

I was the UI/UX designer on the redesign, working on the page structure, navigation, visual system and components.

Problem

A lot of complex legal tech, and visitors who need to understand it fast.

The challenge was to organise a large amount of information into a website experience that felt clear, professional, and easy to navigate.

The website needed to communicate complex services without overwhelming users, while also building trust and guiding visitors toward the right information and actions.

Solution

Turning complexity into a clear digital experience.

• Hierarchy first. I redesigned the website with a stronger focus on content hierarchy, navigation, readability, and visual consistency, so visitors can find the right information and the next step.

• Easy to scan. The new UI uses clean layouts, clear typography, generous spacing, structured content blocks, and consistent components to make information easier to scan and understand.

• Professional, but approachable. The design keeps a professional LegalTech feel while creating a more modern and approachable digital presence.

Design System

One visual system behind every page.

Shared type, colours and components keep every page of the site consistent, from the homepage to blog articles and the 404 page.
